All About The Mead Family

There are 7 people in our family. Pat works hard at Intel and plays hard at home
on the computer. Margo is a stay-at-home mom who is always busy! She spends her time
taking care of the children, crocheting, sewing, working on her webpages, and reading e-mail.
She is also involved in Civil War reenacting, along with the children.

Family members, scroll down to see a link to even more pictures! You'll need a password--e-mail me if I haven't sent it to you.

Cody is our oldest son. He is 18 and a senior this year. He still likes to play games on computers, but has decided he doesn't want to go into a computer career. Instead he wants to be a chef. He has a job making pizza at a nice pizza place and he really enjoys it. He is thinking about going to culinary school after he finishes high school.
Alyssa is 16. She is in 9th grade.  She is still going to a small private school, and she still loves it. She wants to graduate from there this spring and then go to BYU-Idaho for the summer. She loves to sing and read. She also enjoys being a part of the Young Women group at our church.
Deirdre is 13 and in 8th grade. This is her last year at middle school. She is always bright and bubbly. She loves making things. She is excited about everything, and loves being in the Young Women group at church, the color yellow, and more! She has a fascination for England right now.
Blake is 10 and goes to 4th grade in a special small classroom. We have been learning over the last couple of years that he has Asperger's syndrome, a form of high-functioning autism. We are doing what we can to help him in his journey. He has gotten pretty good at video games and computer games, and has learned to play a couple that his older brother and sisters will play too. He still has lots of energy!
Duncan is 6 now,  and still cute as a button. He has discovered video games and computer games already, and wants to play them all the time. We had him evaluated recently and learned that he has high-functioning autism as well. He was placed in the same small classroom that Blake was in last year. He is doing pretty well there although he has his moments.
