Materials:
2 1/2 yards cord or plastic lacing
12 gold pony beads
7 yellow pony beads
6 pink pony beads
32 silver pony beads
32 white pony beads

Special Instructions:
To do the wings, string on 14 silver beads and then go back through them with the same string in the manner indicated by the string path. (For help, see the "Illustrated Penguin Directions" link above.) Do the wings on both sides to this point. Then add two more silver beads on each side, and proceed with the 5 white beads of Row 6. After completing Row 6, you will need to reinforce this area by putting the strings back through Row 5 and then back through Row 6. This area of reinforcement is indicated in the diagram by the violet string path. Then proceed with the pattern as usual.
