Karen Beverly is a plastic knife with yarn hair, clay mouth, googly eyes (one bigger than the other), very long chenille stem arms, paper or fabric scrap clothing with star stickers and rickrack trim, and a clay and tongue depressor base for "feet."

Materials:

• 1 1/2 yards cord of choice
• 1 lanyard hook or keyring
• 19 white pony beads
• 26 green pony beads
• 16 lime green pony beads
• 14 yellow pony beads
• 6 dark pink pony beads
• 6 tan pony beads
• 4 ivory pony beads
• 3 red pony beads
• 3 aqua pony beads
• 2 black pony beads
• 1 purple pony bead (flower in hair)
• 1 glitter purple bead (star on dress)
• 1 glitter pink pony bead (star on dress)
• 1 gold glitter pony bead (star on dress)
• 1 clear pony bead (center of last row)

Special instructions for arms:
Put 12 beads on one string. Loop the string around through bead 9, then add bead 13 (13 will only have one string going through). Proceed through beads 8, 7, and 6, and skip going though bead 5. Then go through beads 4, 3, 2, and 1. Repeat for other arm.
