Thing 1 and Thing 2, from "The Cat in the Hat"

Materials:

• 1 yards cord of choice, divided in half
• 1 lanyard hook or keyring
• 20 red pony beads
• 6 ivory pony beads
• 1 white pony bead

Materials for Hair:

• Blue yarn
• Pre-cut paper (to fit on back side of head)

Directions for Hair: Cut yarn into one- to two-inch strips (depending on how long you want hair to be). Glue strands onto paper, as shown, and glue paper onto back of head. Note that I just used a row of blue beads for the hair in my version.
