Materials:

• 3 1/2 yds. cord or plastic lacing
• 1 lanyard hook or keyring
• 81 gray pony beads
  

Special Instructions:
Start with 2 1/2 yds. of cord. After row 17, place 6 beads on each strand to work flaps. Then loop each end of the strand between rows 14 and 15. Fasten off.
Work a 1 yd. length of cord through the 3 beads of row 9. Place 13 beads on each strand to work each wing. Then loop each end of the strand between rows 10 and 11. Fasten off.
